This course is all about the basics of garden design and the installation of your dream garden. This series covers both ornamental landscaping and vegetable gardening. Whether you're just looking to spruce up your existing beds or start a large project this series of videos will be easy to follow along with. Part 1 and Part 2
In part 1 we will learn the basics of garden design and soil preparation. This part of the class will explore how proper preplanning can help with future maintenance.
In part 2 we will talk through how to prepare your soil to give your garden the best chance to thrive.
Part 3 and Part 4
In part 3 we will explore how to best layout beds for ease of maintenance and biggest impact.
In part 4 is all about picking plants. This is the real fun part of gardening. We will go to garden centers and nurseries to learn what I look for shopping for plants.
Part 5
In part 5 we will learn how best to plant annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees for optimum future performance.
